Angela & Matthew Schwerdtfeger Wedding at The Chandelier of Gruene

Angela & Matthew professed their love for each other in a romantic outside ceremony at The Chandelier of Gruene in New Braunfels, Tx, with an open-air ceremony and a reception filled with love, laughter and pure joy. Their special day was surrounded by friends and family gathering to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The bride looked stunning in her lace dress, aged white with several layers of lace giving the dress dimension; the halter bodice and deep V neckline, with glimmering accents along the edges made her look like she stepped right out of a fairy tale! It was hard to keep your eyes off Angela, if the dress wasn’t enough, her glowing smile beamed and there’s no wonder the groom teared up as she glided down the aisle.

The theme and colors of the wedding were dusty sky blue and white with accents of gold. The floral arrangements, done by The Flower Girl, were a mixture of white roses, peonies and hydrangeas. Romantic candlelight with a touch of Spanish flare would be the best way to describe this wedding. The couple’s first dance is a perfect example of this starting off with a sweet waltz then stepping it up to a fun salsa filled with spins, dips and even a dramatic coat jacket throwing.

The reception was nothing but a dance party with lots of laughs and smiles. There was even a mariachi band! But of course, no Aggie wedding would be complete without the Aggie War Hymn, all maroon and gold guests joined the bride and groom in the tradition that would put any “tea sip” to shame. It was delicious! The DJ, Mr. Austin DJ, was so fun. He made sure to keep the guests engaged and up on their feet. He even gave the couple the idea to have an anniversary dance. This dance is where all married couple come and dance with the newlyweds and try to see who has been married the longest, the winner was 63 years! This sweet couple gave some inspiration words of wisdom to Matthew and Angela. The couple closed the night out with a sparkler send off into their classic car, from Circle J Ranch Vintage Cars. Of course, Lauren of Lauren Garrison Photography captured every moment perfectly!

My favorite memory from Angela and Matthew’s wedding was how much fun everyone was having. From the filled dance floor to the genuine toast to how happy everyone was to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Schwerdtfeger! They met in the 10th grade and have been inseparable ever since. How romantic! It was truly a romantic fairy tale seeing how their story was getting another exciting chapter added to their new lives as husband and wife.

Thank you for having us! I wish you both all the best!
